Guidance Department
       The counseling program is designed to meet the social, academic, personal, and career needs of our students.  Students are welcome to come and talk with us at anytime.  Students must have permission from their teacher and a signed agenda book.

      
The counseling offices are now located in the Library.  Please enter the Library from the Eighth Grade side.  

       The counseling program consists of individual counseling, small group counseling, and classroom guidance sessions/activities.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS:
 ACT research has found that "the level of academic achievement that students attain by eighth grade has a larger impact on their college and career readiness by the time they graduate from high school than anything that happens academically in high school."  --The Forgotten Middle - Ensuring that All Students Are on Target for College and Career Readiness before High School (This information can be found on the ACT website, act.org.
